The sun’s rays are converted into usable energy with the use of solar panels.Solar panels are a type of device used to attract the suns energy which in turn powers other devices which produce renewable, usable energy. These solar panels can come in all shapes and sizes but are all designed to pull in the sun’s energy so it can be converted into electricity.

With the ever rising electricity costs, research and development of more ways to use solar has skyrocketed. Becoming more environmentally conscious is becoming the in-thing to do, it no longer belongs to the hippies of the 70′s or the secluded who want to be left alone. There are even whole sub-divisions being developed to be completely solar powered.
Finding solar panels for your home was not so easy a few years ago and they could be quite costly.
